Since 1989, The American Pavilion’s esteemed Worldwide Student Program has introduced thousands of entertainment industry students to festivals and events worldwide, from Hollywood to Cannes to Venice. Now, AmPav is proud to continue our newest student program at Austin's influential South By Southwest (SXSW) Festival next March! This 6 day program will focus on the film & TV portion of the festival. Along with discovering groundbreaking new movies and TV series, your pass will also allow you access to talks with thought leaders from the worlds of Film, Tech, and Music. Join us next March for our second SXSW Intensive!

SXSW Intensive Details

2025 Program Dates: Thursday, March 6 – Tuesday, March 11

Registration Deadline: January 20, 2025

 

Program Fee:

$2,995 through September 16, 2024
$3,250 through January 6, 2025
$3,495 through February 10, 2025

AmPav Alumni Program Fee: $2,995 through February 10, 2025

 

Program Fee includes:

  • Festival accreditation with primary access to keynotes, featured speakers, mentor sessions & workshops, Film & TV screenings/premieres, and the Film & TV Festival Opening Party
  • Six nights of shared accommodation in downtown Austin (within walking distance of the Austin Convention Center)
  • Daily breakfast
  • Exclusive roundtables & access to PMC venues


Flight/Travel Arrangements:

Participants are responsible for travel arrangements to and from Austin, TX.

Registration Steps

1. Completed online registration form (submitted no later than 1/20/25)

2. Confirmation call with an AmPav rep

3. Payment of $1000 non-refundable deposit to hold spot (due within 5 days of confirmation call)

4. Payment of program fee balance due:
$1,995 if paid by September 16, 2024

$2,250 if paid by January 6, 2025
$2,495 paid by February 10, 2025

AmPav Alumni: A non-refundable deposit of $1000 is due at registration to hold your spot. The balance of $1,995 is due no later than February 10, 2025. Please note that all fees are non-refundable.

Failure to comply with the above stated conditions will result in being put on the waiting list or forfeiting your place in the program.

 

Program fees are non-refundable. Acceptance can be deferred to a future year only if participation is not possible due to travel restrictions, date change, or cancellation by the Festival.

Adherence to all COVID-19 safety protocols will be required. Depending upon conditions at the time of travel, this could include proof of vaccination/boosters, masking, and/or frequent testing. We will keep participants updated regarding policies and safety measures put forth by the CDC and the Festival organization.
