Along with world premieres by leading directors from around the globe and groundbreaking arthouse films, experience local culture by staying in the heart of Venice. Explore the canals, visit the glass factories of Murano, and enjoy all the Italian food you can eat!
Venice Intensive Details

Program Fee:
Earlybird: $3,995
Regular: $4,195
Late: $4,295
Program Fee includes:
- Festival Accreditation (possibility to see all selected films of the festival)
- Eight nights of shared accommodation in central Venice
- Daily breakfast
- Cultural experiences, including an outing to the islands of Murano and Burano
- Exclusive programming with industry insiders
- Transportation between Venice Marco Polo Airport and hotel
- Local transportation on the vaporetto (waterbus)
- AmPav Alumni membership after the program ends (includes mixers in LA/NY, discounts on other programs, and other opportunities)
Flight/Travel Arrangements:
Participants are responsible for their travel arrangements to and from Venice, Italy. (Airport transfers are provided on program arrival and departure days.)
Other Info:
The main form of transportation while in Venice is by boat, so you should be prepared with medicine if you suffer from motion sickness.
Central Venice can be difficult for people with limited mobility (no cars, bridges with stairs, narrow alleys, cobblestone paths, etc).

Completed applications are reviewed by The American Pavilion Selection Committee on a rolling basis. Candidates who meet all of the requirements for admission will be contacted for an interview and notified of a decision on a first come, first served basis.
Candidates are encouraged to apply early as the program can fill up quickly.

Conditions of Acceptance
If accepted into the program, a deposit of $1000 is due within two weeks of acceptance to hold your spot.
Balance after paying $1000 deposit:
$2,995 if paid in full by Jan. 12, 2026 ($3,995 in total)
$3,195 if paid in full by April 27, 2026 ($4,195 in total)
$3,295 if paid in full by July 27, 2026 ($4,295 in total)
*AmPav Alumni receive $100 discount on regular and late fee.
Payment plans are available for the balance.

Failure to comply with the above stated conditions will result in being put on the waiting list or forfeiting your place in the program.
121 days or more prior to program start date:
Full refund less the $55 non-refundable application fee and $500 cancellation fee
120 to 61 days prior to program start date:
50% refund less the $55 non-refundable application fee and $500 cancellation fee
60 days or less prior to program start date:
No refund will be issued.
